Tap Water Series: Getting the Lead Out

Recent public service and campaigns have stressed
drinking tap water. Our Tap Water Series of Articles
will help show why Tap Water may not be the best source
of your water for drinking, cooking, and even bathing.

Tap Water: Getting the Lead Out

This picture, of course, is an exaggeration.  The real hazard
comes from what YOU CANNOT SEE in your water!

Health Threats From Lead

Too much lead in the human body can cause serious damage to the brain, kidneys, nervous system, and red blood cells.

In babies and children, exposure to lead in drinking water above the action level can result in delays in physical and mental development, along with slight deficits in attention span and learning abilities. In adults, it can cause increases in blood pressure. Adults who drink this water over many years could develop kidney problems or high blood pressure.

Although much public outcry and concern is made over toys that may contain lead, you hear very little about whether the water that our children drink is a lead hazard.

It is estimated that lead in drinking water contributes between 10%-20% of total lead exposure in young children.

Sources of Lead in Drinking Water
Lead levels in your drinking water are likely to be highest if:

    * your home has faucets or fittings of brass which contains some lead,
    * your home or water system has lead pipes
    * your home has copper pipes with solder
    * the house is less than five years old
    * you have naturally soft water
    * water often sits in the pipes for several hours

Pure, clean, bottled water is a good, safe, alternate choice to help eliminate lead exposure.

Tap Water Series: What is in Aquafina and Dasani?

Recent public service and campaigns have stressed
drinking tap water. Our Tap Water Series of Articles
will help show why Tap Water may not be the best source
of your water for drinking, cooking, and even bathing.

Aquafina Labels: It's Tap Water?!

What about Dasani?

The label on Aquafina a bottles will soon be changed to spell out that the drink comes from the same source as tap water, the brand's owner said Friday.

A group called Corporate Accountability International has been pressuring bottled water sellers to curb what it calls misleading marketing practices.

Aquafina is the single biggest bottled water brand, and its bottles are now labeled "P.W.S." The new labels will spell out "public water source."

"If this helps clarify the fact that the water originates from public sources, then it's a reasonable thing to do," said PepsiCo spokeswoman Michelle Naughton .

The corporate accountability group is also pressing for similar concessions from The Coca-Cola Co. (nyse: KO - news - people ), which owns the Dasani water brand.

Dasani's Web site says that Dasani comes from local water supplies and is then filtered.

"We don't believe that consumers are confused about the source of Dasani water," Coca-Cola spokeswoman Diana Garza Ciarlante said. "The label clearly states that it is purified water."

Not all bottled waters are pure, spring, or natural water as their
labels may imply. Not all bottled waters are better than tap water.
Some are just like "tap" water.

Zenergy Water does not come from a tap or any public water source.

Is Your Body Crying For Water?

Is Your Body Crying For Water?

* Water's Role in the Body

Water helps nearly every part of the human body function. Considering that our bodies are almost two-thirds water, understanding water's important role in the body can be a fountain of health. The following are just some facts about water and it's role in the body:

* Your brain is 75% water / Moderate dehydration can cause headaches and dizziness
* Water is required for expiration
* Regulates body temperature
* Carries nutrients and oxygen to all cells in the body
* Blood is 92% water
* Moistens oxygen for breathing
* Protects and cushions vital organs
* Helps to convert food into energy
* Helps body absorb nutrients
* Removes waste
* Bones are 22% water
* Muscles are 75% water

*Statistics From The International Bottled Water Association

* Water is the main component of almost every function in your body. You cannot live without water

* According to F. Batmanghelidj, M.D., author of the book Your Body's Many Cries For Water, these are some of the things water does for you everyday:

1. Water generates electrical and magnetic energy inside every single cell in your body - it literally provides you with the "power" to live.

2. Water integrates mind and body functions. It increases the ability to realize goals and purpose.

3. Water is used to transport all substances to your cells.

4. Water increases the efficiency of the red blood cells to collect oxygen in your lungs.

5. Water brings your cells oxygen and takes the wastes away from the cells so your body can dispose of them. It cleanses your body on the cellular level!

6. Water plays an active role in your internal heating (electrical) and cooling (sweat) systems. It helps to regulate your body's temperature.

7. Water is needed for the production of hormones, enzymes, and neurotransmitters.

8. Water is a better "pick-me-up" then any other drink in the world! And, it has NO side effects!

9. Water removes deposits of toxic substances in the joints, kidneys, liver, brain, skin, and tissues caused by dehydration.

10. Drinking water helps separate the sensations of hunger and thirst. This helps you lose weight naturally as you start to recognize you are not hungry, but rather thirsty for water!

These are just a few of the many reasons to make water a priority in your day!

* Are you drinking enough water? More importantly - are you drinking the right water?

What is Hexagonal Structured Water and Why Is It So Important?

What is Hexagonal Water?

Hexagonal Water is a specific arrangement of individual water molecules where 6 H2O units consistently link to form a ring-like structure. This unique arrangement is the basis of a more complex crystalline network that is formed when numerous hexagonal units join together.

All water contains a certain percentage of hexagonal units – some sources more than others. The percentage of hexagonal units appears to depend on a number of factors, including the energetic influences that water is exposed to.

Even chemicals added to watr to treat it, such as chlorine and flouride reduce the structure. And many pollutants typically found in municipal water sources are even worse in reducing the number of hexagonal units. This is why (among other reasons) you do not want to drink tap water.

There are a number of places throughout the world where the water has a high concentration of hexagonal structures. Many of these places are known as “healing springs.” Others are known for producing inhabitants that live long and disease-free lives.

Hexagonal Water moves easily into the cellular environment

There is significant scientific evidence that Hexagonal Water moves within biological organisms with greater ease. It appears to enhance nutrient absorption and the removal of metabolic wastes. (Many who consume Hexagonal Water report a cleansing reaction within days or weeks.) This may be due to the smaller size of the molecular unit and its ability to enter and exit the cellular environment with greater ease. It may also be due to the specific organization of the hexagonal network which appears to enhance cellular communication and to support other structures within biological organisms. For example: according to The Water Puzzle, Hexagonal Water is found surrounding healthy DNA, whereas unorganized water is found surrounding the DNA of diseased tissue. (1)

Hexagonal Water enhances metabolic efficiency

There is also evidence that Hexagonal Water activates enzymes to a greater degree than ordinary water – and that it enhances metabolic efficiency. (1) In The Water Puzzle, Dr. Jhon explains why Hexagonal Water is energetically more powerful and why it has the capacity to improve metabolic efficiency. According to his book, Hexagonal Water has the capacity to perform more work and to transfer a greater amount of energy within the body. (1)

The amount of Hexagonal Water in our bodies decreases as we age

Research has shown that that the total amount of water within the human body decreases as we age, but it is also being shown that the amount of Hexagonal Water decreases as well. In one significant study conducted in Japan, Magnetic Resonance Imaging was used to show that the amount of structured water in the body is directly correlated with age. (2) This same study presents evidence that biological molecules require structured water in order to perform their functions. According to the paper, when biological molecules are found in unstructured water, they are just compounds – they have a decreased ability to perform their intended functions.

Miracle Molecular Structure of Water: Human Body Loves Hexagonal Water

Dr. Yang H. Oh, PhD, received his degree in Chemistry from Harvard and is retired from a professorship at Baylor Medical School. Dr. Oh states,

"The hexagonal structure of water is the one that promotes health and increases longevity. The human body loves hexagonal water."

We now understand that the water in our bodies must be structured to be able to carry sufficient and correct information to the cells for proper health, and smaller, organized clusters of these structures, seems to be preferable to large clusters for optimum health. Proper structuring of the molecules is also essential for delivery of nutrients into the cells and removal of wastes out of the cells. If water is not structured properly on consumption, then the body has to assume the task of its structuring; however, this does not always occur sufficiently for various reasons and water remains in a chaotic state. When this happens the body becomes increasingly dehydrated and malnourished and the clumping together of different kinds of cells can occur, keeping them from functioning properly.

Water: for us it is the most important substance on the planet. It sustains life and enhances wellbeing. But according to Dr. Yang Oh and Gil-Ho Kim, water possesses differing molecular structures, and the kind of water you drink may relate to bodily dysfunction and disease. Basing their work on the research of Dr. Mu Shik Jhon, the authors conclude that the three different molecular structures of water identified in this book have varied affects on the body. They even point to evidence that seems to indicate abnormal water structure could be related to the abnormal cellular activity that results in cancer and diabetes. Their conclusion: The hexagonal structure of water is the one that promotes health and increases longevity.
